Inception Architects Studio unveils their latest project, the TM House, nestled in the picturesque parish of Lamelas, Santo Tirso. Embracing its rustic surroundings, this T4 typology house seamlessly integrates with the natural landscape while offering a contemporary living experience.
At the heart of the design philosophy is the intentional connection between interior and exterior spaces, blurring the boundaries between them. The striking feature of the house is its natural concrete roof, ingeniously crafted to not only provide shelter but also create a dynamic interplay of light and shadow. This unique design element extends to form inviting exterior patios, inviting residents to enjoy the outdoors in harmony with the interior.
The interior spaces are meticulously planned to optimize sunlight exposure, enhancing the sense of openness and connection with the surroundings. The free-flowing layout, shaped in an ‘L’ configuration, comprises an entrance hall seamlessly merging with the outdoor pool area, a corridor leading to the expansive common room and kitchen, and a dedicated laundry room with an adjoining patio. The private quarters, including an office and two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, as well as the luxurious master suite, are thoughtfully positioned on the east side for maximum privacy and tranquility.
Outside, the house unfolds around a rectangular pool, forming the centerpiece of the leisure area. Here, a comfortable living space and barbecue area beckon residents to unwind and entertain amidst the natural beauty of the landscape. With its thoughtful design and harmonious integration with nature, the TM House stands as a testament to Inception Architects Studio’s commitment to innovative and sustainable architecture.”
