2. Pavagada Solar Park (Shakti Sthala)

Situated in Karnataka’s Tumkur district, Pavagada Solar Park, also known as Shakti Sthala, covers an expansive 13,000 acres. With a capacity of 2,050 MW, it ranks as the world’s third-largest photovoltaic solar park as of April 2021. Completed in 2019, this solar farm exemplifies effective land utilization and community involvement, contributing significantly to the state’s renewable energy output.
