The launch took place at BuildCon 2024, one of the largest gatherings of home builders and contractors in Goa, under the theme “Future Forward – Switch to Smart.”
As part of the launch, Schneider introduced the upgraded Wiser 2.0, a holistic smart home energy management solution designed to transform homes with advanced automation and energy efficiency features. The company also debuted Miluz Lara, a new line of switches and sockets that blend modern design with functionality, offering features such as air quality (AQI) monitoring and USB A+C compatibility.
Deepak Sharma, Zone President, Greater India, and MD & CEO, Schneider Electric India, emphasized the significance of energy-efficient homes in the current landscape. “Home energy consumption is set to rise dramatically in the next decade, making it crucial for homes to be digital and decarbonized. Our Wiser 2.0 and Miluz Lara solutions cater specifically to Indian homes, contributing to the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative through local manufacturing,” Sharma said.
The event also featured a series of expert panel discussions with industry leaders, focusing on the evolving real estate landscape, sustainability, and resident well-being. Schneider Electric’s innovative solutions, developed in India, reflect its commitment to addressing the growing demand for energy-efficient, sustainable homes while supporting India’s fight against climate change.
Rajat Abbi, Vice President of Global Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer, at Schneider Electric India, spoke about the company’s vision to bring over 100 years of expertise in energy management directly to homebuilders and end users. “Our focus is to empower the ecosystem of builders and contractors by delivering innovative solutions that not only improve energy management but also elevate the living experience. In the coming weeks, we will launch an integrated marketing campaign to showcase these new solutions and highlight their benefits to homeowners across India,” Abbi explained.
Schneider Electric also showcased its comprehensive Grid to Plug solutions, which include software, services, and sustainability offerings specifically designed for homebuilders and contractors.
