REHAU Interior Solutions Launches ‘House of REHAU’, Its First Experiential Brand Destination in India

REHAU Interior Solutions has launched House of REHAU, its first experiential brand destination in India, marking a significant milestone in the company’s long-term growth strategy for the market. The initiative signals REHAU’s transition from a conventional product-led retail approach to an experience-driven brand engagement model, in line with the evolving expectations of India’s architecture, interior design, and construction fraternity.

Located at Sector 11, Gurugram, House of REHAU – Experiential Centre has been envisioned as an immersive destination rather than a traditional showroom. The space brings together REHAU’s strengths in material science, German engineering, and design-led innovation, enabling architects, interior designers, developers, and industry partners to explore the brand’s interior surfaces, decorative solutions, and furniture components through integrated, real-world applications.

The launch was attended by Dr. Thomas Troeger, Chief Executive Officer – REHAU Interior Solutions, and Mr. Tushar Verma, Executive Vice President – REHAU India & Subcontinent, who outlined the company’s global vision, India’s growing strategic importance, and the rising role of decorative surfaces as a design-led category.

Speaking at the launch, Dr. Troeger said, “House of REHAU reflects how we want customers to engage with our brand—through experience, dialogue, and material intelligence. India is one of our most important growth markets, not only in terms of demand but also as a manufacturing and capability hub. This launch reinforces our long-term confidence in the market and its influence on our global strategy.”

With over 70 years of global expertise, REHAU is known for high-performance polymer solutions that replace conventional materials, offering enhanced durability, precision, sustainability, and design flexibility. Its interior solutions portfolio includes decorative surfaces, edge bands, boards, laminates, flooring, and furniture components, developed as integrated, system-driven solutions.

Mr. Verma added, “House of REHAU represents the next phase of our India journey—from product presence to experience-led engagement. As decorative surfaces evolve into lifestyle-defining design elements, this platform allows us to demonstrate how innovation, performance, and aesthetics come together to address real-world requirements.”

REHAU also announced an ambitious retail and investment roadmap for India, with plans to expand to over 50 retail touchpoints in the next three years. This includes large-format experience centres in major metros and compact studios in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, backed by an investment of ₹50 crore to strengthen retail infrastructure, brand building, and customer engagement.

The company highlighted India’s expanding role as a manufacturing and global capability hub, citing initiatives such as the acquisition of REDSTAR Polymers, land acquisition in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, a proposed third manufacturing facility, and a 100,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Gujarat. These developments align with REHAU’s commitment to the Make in India initiative and its strategy to serve South-East Asia and the Middle East.

Sustainability remains central to REHAU’s operations, with a focus on material responsibility, renewable energy, water recycling, and circular manufacturing practices. The company also confirmed the upcoming release of its sustainability report.

With the launch of House of REHAU, the brand aims to create a collaborative platform for India’s design and building ecosystem, reinforcing its philosophy of combining engineering precision, material innovation, and design relevance to shape the future of interiors.
