Aparna Kaushik, a New Delhi-based architect known for her graceful and precise designs, has unveiled a luxurious and elegant line of art pieces. These spaces, with their art pieces and sculptures, signify refined aesthetics and elegance. The perfect amalgamation of design, intricacy, meaning, and craftsmanship, these pieces are sure to elevate any space with their luxurious charm and aura.
The sculptures and paintings are designed to be versatile, with the intention of them being able to be placed perfectly in both homes and offices. One of the sculptures showcases a pensive, seated man bearing the Sanskrit words, Vasudev Kutumbhakamb – “The world is one family”: a phrase that defines the firm’s philosophy and design ethos of the brand.
Another sculpture, inspired by the principal architect’s love for modern and impressionist art, can be found in the atrium. It depicts a girl with a ponytail, dressed much like the ballerinas in paintings by Edgar Degas. However, her stance is that of an upward gaze and unrehearsed demeanour, which symbolises the childlike wonder of free creative thought.
