Rajnysh Rami, founder of Interior Design firm Studio 7 designs designed a home for a young couple in their 30’s. The house designed has a blend of contemporary decor with touches of antiquity.

Studio 7

The main door of the house has a grand opening into an Italian clad wall of the foyer that is beautifully defined by grey tones and burnished metallic accents. To its right, a PU-coated panel is supported by a veneered column that adorns the wall, underpinned by a metallic and teakwood veneer shoe unit with pullouts.

The foyer opens into a spacious living room, which has a variety of material palettes and textures. Designed in contemporary style dotted with fusion world accents, the room is filled with natural light.

A soft sky-blue sofa with velvet upholstery immediately becomes the focal point of the room. Whereas the rich veining on the Italian marble wall, accentuated with brass artwork, steals the show in the living room. The living area corner is a confluence of traditional and modern decor. While big windows with sheer curtains add depth of character to space, the modish chair, sleek table, and rustic vase with dry white rose to bring in vibrancy and style.

Studio 7

The dining room has lined wooden furniture, marble wall panels, and antique brass light that meets functionality in most modern style. The chair is beautifully merged with the soft tones of neutral grays and teak wood. Grey PU coated furniture radiate pleasant calm in the kitchen area and white subway tiles on the backsplash complement the glossy quartz counter.

Studio 7

The beautifully designed master bedroom has an accent wall behind the bed in the shade of brown and beige. Black and gold bedsides with the designer pendant light and landscape wall frames add to the elegant ambiance.

Studio 7

The parents’ room is painted in muted tones of white and cream. To maximize the space, a mirrored storage shutter on both sides of the bed with a pink velvet bed back has been placed. The guest room has a wood veneer palette with splashes of red and green painting on the wall.

Studio 7

The lobby on the first floor leads into a puja room, designed with an alluring floral detail in black n white, and gold mosaic on the backdrop. Rose Gold lamp and antique gold-tone credenza add a touch of metallic shine where the floor and walls perpetuate the marble aesthetics.

Studio 7

The black and white zigzag pattern on kid’s bed backdrops adds drama and colorful furniture set up a bold and energetic children’s bedroom. A fully dedicated Home theater has been placed on the top floor, which is the perfect place for the family to spend time together.

Architect Parag V Singal of Parag Singhal Architects recently designed the offices for Mitsubishi. The offices included a floor plan of 22,300 ft. The goal was to create an office space that not only followed the usual standards of 'maximizing usable square footage' but also avoided any monotony in the spaces. The open floor plan facilitates the workstation area to have maximum occupancy without compromising on the privacy and personal space that each employee needs. In the majority of areas that are habitable, natural light is present, so there's no need for people to use artificial light during the day. Natural light has some energy savings and benefits. The central core houses all the workstations. Three different workstation patterns were adopted to stray away from the run-of-the-mill approach and bring vibrancy into the space. The cabins take the shorter periphery, thereby leaving the larger volume for workstations and other interactive zones. A sizeable amount of break-out areas have been carved out of the chunk of the floor plate. This not only breaks the monotony of the plan but also acts as a catalyst for promoting healthy interaction between the employees. Those particular areas have been accentuated by the use of offbeat colors. The most notably used color is Pantone color of the year. They are offbeat but still compliment one another and fit well in the overall picture given that they are all complimentary. The entire office space is adorned with handcrafted furniture of the highest quality and energy-efficient lighting fixtures that create a welcoming atmosphere. The office is designed to be both accessible and comfortable to the occupants while also impressing your visitors!
