Studio IAAD, the architecture and interior design firm led by Rachna Agarwal, collaborated with multinational real estate development company Emaar Properties – Dubai for designing their Emaar Digihomes, Gurugram, Builder’s Experience Centre of 2BHK and 3BHK apartments.

The design intends to bring forward an elevated living experience that stimulates the senses in a wholesome manner through the continuous dialogue between the inside and the outside. The meticulously detailed brief catapulted the design process in a trajectory, where the shared vision was to the position. The design narrative finds its roots in the conceptual identity, contemporary nuances, attention to detail, and three distinct grammars of design tied together with a ‘feel-good’ aura within the limited blueprint.

The space anchors the main circulation paths, connecting the two model apartments. The model residences are curated meticulously, bearing the essence of user-centric designs in aesthetics and functions alike. The 2BHK is envisioned as a budget-effective abode ideal for younger families that may take to the eclectic palette, ingeniously interlaced with a sense of familial warmth. The color blue is the hero of the space, with its significant yet restrained usage across the home’s canvas, lending it a refreshing identity. The piecing together of each element – functional or decorative, allows the house to exude a lived-in character that strikes a chord immediately! A feature that makes for an intriguing addition is the quaint dining area wallpaper, framing views of a winding white stucco-lined hallway which gives the space a sense of increased dimension. This unit’s design approach walks the line between the unconventional and the alluring with ease!

With a contemporary and stylish identity at its core, the 3BHK unit features chic, neutral tones that explore luxury in a wide range of elegant shades. Understated decor with pops of color and lifestyle-friendly details create a warm atmosphere for modern royalty. In the master suite, elegant and plush velvet upholstery provides an idyllic setting for the iconic Souffle Chair, which appears in this luxurious penthouse space.

At the Emaar DigiHomes, spaces have been brought to life with a passion for creating immersive experiences. The play of colour palettes, materiality, bric-a-brac, or bespoke luminaires manifests as thought-driven design that ultimately makes a living entity that shelters families in homes that mirror their identity, aspirations, and future.
