Bagh India Store designed by Darshali Golani & Parnavi Mendon

Darshali Golani & Parnavi Mendon, Interior Designer recently designed Bagh India by Seasons Vadodara studio nestled in the city of Mumbai that showcases the diversity of Indian heritage. The shells are created in raw & earthy shade with the touch of traditional elements that create a perfect canvas for the vivid colors of textiles. The façade with display space for the mannequin is captivated by the Red Ajrakh printed blinds with the studio branding in indigo blue branding.

The floor chosen for this space is of yellow kota cultivating the theme of the store with a mirror polish that reflects a smooth light enhancing the tone of the space. The store has a long curved façade, which has been highlighted with variation in pattern, using smaller diagonal pieces of yellow kota stone to create a visual distinction between the window display and the interior display.

The store entry is through a narrow lift lobby, an open central display area that is used to showcase the latest collection of the store and entices the user to take a stroll through space. The ceiling is curated in charcoal grey, which fills the rawness of the space and becomes the center of attraction and contrast with the earthy interior elements.
