Ar. Kapil Tyagi & Designer Alka Srivastava recently designed 3BHK for a couple with a strong design sensibility in Gurgaon. Space is the amalgamation where vintage meets contemporary and eclectic meets minimalism.
The house has a mix of countryside and industrial styles, which is warm, welcoming, and gives a comfortable feel. The focus has been on the abundance of natural light and ventilation, which was achieved by keeping the cavity size made of 2 folds. A neutral color palette highlighted with bright pops in furniture, upholstery, and accessories is used in the house. Solid wood has been used in abundance in the house in the form of columns, beams, live edges, and countertops. Aged columns and the main door reflect the richness of the house, which is handpicked from the streets of Jaipur.
