West Elm launches in India with Reliance Brands

West Elm, a global design company and a member of Williams-Sonoma Inc., the world’s largest digital first design led and sustainable home retailer, launched its very first store in Mumbai as part of an exclusive deal with Reliance Brands, followed by a second store in Gurgaon.

We are here to help create a space that reflects you and what you love. That means forward-thinking, problem-solving design that unites value, quality and responsible manufacturing. The brand’s entry into the Indian market is strategic, filling the void of a comprehensive modern lifestyle brand that’s accessible to the design conscious customer,” said Puneet Behal, Senior Vice President, Reliance Brands Limited.

The West Elm stores carry a diverse range of furniture, lighting and accessories for the home. The designs aim to become more than just something that meets your practical needs but also to elevate and inspire you by helping develop your personal style over time as you find the items that help complement your existing tastes as well as stock up on new ones as they discover how versatile the things you already own can become. The store in Mumbai spans cross 9,000 sq. ft split in two levels and the store in Gurgaon spans across 6,000 sq. on one level. They feature elements like industrial lighting, exposed brick and cement walls, use of black industrial metal, helping transport consumers to a welcoming shopping experience. 

West Elm is a leader in responsible retail, conscious of its impact not just on Earth but also the people who live on it. West Elm offers a wide range of handcrafted items made from items that are organic and free from toxins. In addition to this, they are FSC & Fair Trade certified
