The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), the national body of Architects in the country elected Ar. Punit Sethi as its Chairman from IIA Haryana Chapter that comprises of 3 centers of Gurgaon, Faridabad, and Panchkula, with 4 Sub-Centres at Ambala, Karnal-Kurukshetra, Sonepat, and Hisar in the recent elections held in Dec 2020, whose result was declared on 10th Jan 2021.
The newly elected executive committee of the IIA Haryana Chapter comprises of Ar. Shiv Kumar Singla (Faridabad) as Vice Chairman, Ar. Vivek Logani (Gurgaon) as Hon. Treasurer, Ar. Abhimanyu Bhatia (Gurgaon) & Ar. Surender Singh Chaudhary (Faridabad) as Jt Hon. Secretaries.

The organization with the objective to promote aesthetic, scientific, and practical efficiency of the profession both in practice and in education plays a major role in promoting the profession of architecture by organizing and uniting in fellowship the Architects of India. The organization is also actively associated with the International Union of Architects (UIA), Commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA), and South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation of Architects (SAARCH) for industry development and practices.
