With the growing popularity of metaverse, another venture in the field is the creation of virtual buildings for metaverse communities. Many designers have created several buildings for the members of the metaverse community The Row. It includes 30 virtual properties created by designers including Misha Kahn, Andes Reisinger, Arsham, Alexis Christodolou, Hard Architects, and Design studio Six N Five.
Every design created for the metaverse is a 3D architectural landmark and will be sold as an NFT – a non-fungible token. The designs can be built on 26 different metaverse platforms on which Everyrealm – a metaverse real estate developer of the Row, owns the land. One of the creators Arsham explained that creating spaces in the metaverse does not need to adhere to the constraints existing in the physical world.
The exciting bit is to see the reaction of people to these pieces of architecture will be established in the metaverse. The residential real estate brokerage team – The Alexander team and Everyrealm, are behind the development of the Row. The first builds will be inaugurated on the metaverse world-building platform, Mona. It brings together the visionary artists celebrated for their architectural landscapes.
Arsham created Ares House – a home inside a sculpture of Ares who is the Greek god of the war, for his Row design. The artist has created five different versions of the design with changing colors of the exterior representing changing seasons. Arsham describes how his design explores the possibility of seasonality and remains in existence both day and night time.
The designer Christodolou’s house is a cantilevered building with floating globes and decoration and is designed to be the first levitation center in the metaverse. It aims to create a spiritual transition into a digital existence. The house will mimic the sun during different times of the day.
Kahn has created a quagmire series of ceramic objects called Quagmire’s Karst and Reisinger has created a realistic-looking virtual building featuring a concrete structure and a glass wall. The building by Six N Five mimics cellular organism design to display the possibilities of 3D digital design. The creation of Hard Architects is called The Pearl which reinterprets the concept of the digital landscape. This metaverse project intends to build a community of buyers who appreciate the efforts and creativity put together by the artists.
