Green House by Liliana Maciel Arquitetura

The project Green House is designed by Ar. Liliana Maciel, in collaboration with Rui Vasco Saldanha & Margarida Padrao, located in the Sano Tirso outskirts. The house was in a high degree of degradation not only because of its age but also because it was uninhabited for more than 30 years. With abundant sun exposure, fresh running water, it became the point of fascination to the owners. The client desires to rehabilitate, preserve memory, and have an exclusive identity, for which the design team combined the contemporaneity of solutions searching for a spatiality of thermal, acoustic, and, of course, aesthetic comfort, giving respect and synchronization of times and ages.

Hydraulic mosaic & the old stone and wood were preserved in the house. The Contemporary Langauge with tones, combination, and composition results as a perfect example in the landscape of the project.
