FAVOURITE PROJECT PLANNING AND STRATEGY

One of the clients wanted to amplify the spaciousness of the 4300 sqft four-bedroom duplex apartment in Mumbai, India. The idea was to make it boundless as well as give a distinct appeal to the entire space making it aesthetically pleasing. The four-bedroom duplex comprises of the entrance lobby, bar, dining area, living room, kitchen and guest bedroom, with a large balcony for the living area & guest bedroom giving a marvelous view outside.

PROJECT EXCLUSIVITY

We started conceptualizing the design of this luxury apartment keeping all the client requirements in the mind. The entire house has an extraordinary decor. Keeping in mind “height of the apartment” as the unique focal point, every element is thoughtfully designed. The entire penthouse has an eclectic design approach. Though each room has been predominantly done up in a style; the same has been adapted to evolve as per the user.

FAVOURITE AREA OF PROJECT

The entrance lobby outside the house has been done up completely in Michelangelo marble. Including the door, all vertical surfaces has been done up in the marble. Though the material is the same, application is different. We custom made mosaic in the same marble, metal inlay and use of wooden rafters are some of the elements.

NEW TECHNOLOGIES USED

A long window opening spilling over into the balcony forms the extension of the living room. Custom made units sit on the opposite side of the seating area; these are finished in botticino marble and mirror. The balcony has been cocooned to be wrapped in a rustic ACP panel from Aludecor.
